Kathleen is the founder of Melanin Rich Wellness Inc., a Holistic Health centered company dedicated to optimizing the physical, mental and spiritual health of the Black community through African Holistic Health and Black Radicalism.
Kathleen is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant, Certified Vaginal Steam Facilitator, Certified Yin Yoga Instructor, Herbalist, Intermittent Fasting Specialist and Traditional Hoodoo Rootworker. Sheis a contributing columnist for the Health Matters section of The Challenger Newspaper. She is author of the books:

Kathleen provides revolutionary seminars and workshops emphasizing self-healing and self- realization through radical self-love, intermittent fasting, plant-based nutrition and African based spirituality.
From a very early age Kathleen was raised to have a strong black consciousness and her inherent revolutionary spirit was cultivated. This black consciousness coupled with a heavy influence of black liberation theology and traditional African American folk magic has fueled her love and commitment to empower and educate her people.
Kathleen is a Buffalo, NY native. She is a graduate of the City Honors School and the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB). She received her BA in Sociology and BS in Business Administration with a concentration in the Registered Accounting Program. She is currently enrolled at D’Youville College to receive her Master’s in Health Services Administration. She has worked over a decade as a Tax Auditor, Tax Outreach Specialist and Senior Accountant.
Kathleen loves writing, Yin Yoga, running outdoors, and Power/Olympic lifting. But most of all, she loves being “mama” to her bright and shining star; her daughter Layla.
